I run a small business in Launceston, Tasmania and have three grown daughters and one grandchild. I sing in several bands (rock ‘n roll, soul, country/rock and formerly in a swing Big Band), play ukulele, and my socialising usually revolves around music but I also love live theatre, museums, road trips, exploring... Musical tastes range through blues, Western Swing, Jazz, old-skool country, bluegrass, soul. I’m fairly well read, have a quirky sense of humour (The League of Gentlemen, The Mighty Boosh, Little Britain, anything from Will Ferrell.....) and tend to end up with more male friends than females purely because of my tomboy nature and penchant for no-nonsense banter and good natured stirring! I love learning about other cultures, trying new experiences and I’m looking to chat to people from all walks of life across the globe.
