Yes! 4 tips:

1. Complete your profile with as many details as you can.
Posting a nice picture isn’t enough to know what kind of friend you want to be or have.
Introduce yourself on your profile. Give other members an idea of what types of friends you are looking for. 

2. Be proactive. Search for friends using the browse and search tools. Send messages and introduce yourself. 
Approach several different people for best results, because not everyone will respond to every message. 

Being proactive is the fastest way to start making new friends – much faster than waiting for someone cool to approach you!

3. Be patient. If the right friend isn’t signed up yet in your area, wait and check again later. 
New members are signing up every day, so don’t give up!  

4. Be Safe. Please follow our safety guidelines and use common sense when meeting new people.

Log into your account, from the top menu, click on your username - you will see a drop down menu.

From this drop down menu, choose, "remove account".

When your account is removed, we delete all your information. 
You are welcome to come back anytime and start fresh!

For safety reasons, FriendMatch is open to users age 16+.

You can block the user so they can't contact you by choosing the block button on their profile.

You can also use the “report” button on their profile to report the member so they can't spam more members.

If a user is threatening you it is best to contact your local police or authorities as well as report it to FriendMatch.

You may also choose to add a "Gold badge" to your account, this filters out messages and friend requests from anyone who has not verified their identity, to add another layer of quality to your friend-finding experience.
