Crazy life has thrown lots my way over the years. In brief: Shy and awkward childhood, mental illness. Married young, military spouse, moved lots, had some kids, suffered miscarriages. Divorced at 27. Relocated to Yorkshire, settled down, had another baby, recently married again.

I try not to let my past hold me back - but to learn from it. My fiance is my rock, but he is a natural loner and I miss having friends around me.

I'm very much a tomboy, most days you'll find me in jeans and baggy tops but I do love to get dressed up for special occasions. I'm not a big drinker, but that doesn't mean I don't enjoy myself.

Would like to make some friends local to me, but happy to chat with people further afield too!
