I'm newer in town, so I don't have a large social network of friends yet. I'm finding it a little harder in my later 20s to meet people, as most everyone has established groups and Minnesota nice is hard to penetrate. I go out to shows and do things by myself all the time, but I'd like to meet some new people and maybe make some life long friendships. I'm a solid friend, and I hope to find some new ones in the Twin Cities this summer. I don't bite, so let's meet sometime (:

I like going to shows, so all the venues are cool. Still newer to the city, so I tend to go somewhere different every time for food or drinks.

For playing on my guitar, I like Rock, Blues, Jazz, Folk, Punk, Classical, Pop... really anything involving guitar. My listening is wide, but I get hung up on the singer songwriters the most. Leonard Cohen is great! Some contemporary music I like is Regina Spector, Dirty Projectors, Modest Mouse, Mitski, Conor Oberst, Joanna Newsom, Courtney Barnett, Tallest Man on Earth, Bjork, Father John Misty, Titus Andronicus, Mac Demarco, Angel Olsen, Kendrick Lamar, Ben Folds Five, Andrew Bird, Beirut, and on and on...
