I’ll start by comments about me made by others.
Former manager: “Here’s a man who read all European classics, and he likes Schwarzenegger.”
A friend: “How come you like bread with crust, and you also like Turkish bread?”
Friend’s mum: “Diving into the sea at your age? You’re insane.”
I like diversity. I’m hungry for knowledge, always open to new things, experimenting, doing things I didn’t do before.
I’m passionate about cooking, photography, mushrooming, listening to music – classical, jazz, rock, music of the world. I like physical activity, hiking, cycling… I enjoy fast moving in any kind of transport – cars, boats, planes.
I love ocean, but any other water would do too ?
My book number one is Crime and Punishment, and most entertaining ones are The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy and Exercises in Style.
For me, the best piece of music ever written is The Art of Fugue, and the best rock bands are Pink Floyd and King Crimson.
My top movies of all time are Crime and Punishment (Russian version), 2001 Space Odyssey, Great Dictator and Blues Brothers. (Some recent movies are serious contenders, I may revise my list at some stage.) I love SF, comedy, action movies, romance and crime (or simply – I love movies).
I enjoy open, challenging and constructive conversation. I like competing, solving various sorts of problems and puzzles, but I am a sport.
I enjoy good laugh and a good joke.
My colour is red.
