Hey. My name is Jordyn. I have been trying to find new friends with similar interests. A lot of my friends have abandoned me since I got engaged. I don’t know why, but I do know it really sucks. I am a really outgoing person with social anxiety. Weird… I know. But I pretty much always am worried that I am annoying someone or that someone does not like me. I have a hard time accepting that people really do enjoy talking to me. I have generalized anxiety and depression but fight it like the daily battle that it is.
I work at an animal shelter. I am an animal behaviorist. That is, I test dogs that come in to make sure they are safe to adopt out, and if they are not, I try to make it so they are. I love animals, obviously. I have three dogs of my own, an Am Staff/Bulldog mix named Harley (age 7), and a Plot Hound/Dalmatian mix named Hershey (age 2) and a special needs Am Staff (age 2). I love to read in my spare time. Harry Potter and Game of Thrones are my life. I am a proud Ravenclaw with my wedding ring sporting a blue diamond to represent. I Netflix more than I should, even as background noise.
I like to be outside; reading in a hammock is one of my favorite past times. I like to cook and bake and will always offer to send cookies or candy to my friends. I am a giver. I love to give presents because just knowing that I brightened someone’s day is worth it.
