I came to the US 9 years ago from Peru. I met my husband online six years ago, so I thought I could find a friend online too. I work, and I have a 2-year-old baby girl which left me with very little free time, however; I find very hard to relate to the people next to me (aka my family and husband's friends). The few friends I have are single, young and enjoy clubbing, which is not my thing or travel which I can't afford. I 'm kind of "Nerdy" and "Geeky," and enjoy things that aren't very social, like reading books or watch British TV shows. My husband is not very outgoing, so I would like to meet someone to hang out with, help me forget I'm a mom for a bit or simply encourage me to get out of my comfort zone.
