Need a friend? Someone you can trust your deep secrets to? Someone who can laugh with you (not at you)? Someone who will not judge you because you live outside the box? Yup, here I am.

Am I the only one that draws a blank when someone says "Tell us a bit about yourself?".....I live in a world full of people, yet alone within the shuffle. I do not have friends I go out with, nor do I have even a friend I just talk to when life becomes full of those "empty" moments. My days are full....yet when I lay in bed at night all I can see is the emptiness that still exists after I am done being who I need to be that day. I am a lost soul...everything to everyone....but yet nothing at the same time. I guess, I just want to be found...if that makes any sense at all. I often feel like no one truly sees me. How do you feel? I am involved in my church, do volunteering when I can with any functions/etc, and I am usually the go to gal with whatever comes my way. I am married, to a complete stranger...who does not know who I truly am....but then again, some of you have been there...that is all too often married life :( Do not get me wrong, I love my husband very much and I am not looking for anyone to fill his place in my life. I am looking for a friend only, anything more would disrespect my promise I made to him the day we said "I do". My goal in life? To be the best version of me I can be, to be true to myself, to leave behind more then I took, to make a difference to someone/somewhere/someday, to be remembered for my heart....but most of all, to give love in a world that so desperately needs it. Some days, we all just need a friend. I am hoping, I can be yours.

I enjoy baking, garage sales, flea markets, auctions, photography, reading, long nature walks, being near the water-listening to the waves hit the beach, and most of all.....spending time with my 2 dogs that suffer from complete separation anxiety cuz they miss the smell of freshly baked dog treats in the oven that I always make for them :)

I love the great lakes, renting a house on the lake or staying in a motel. I love traveling (within the United States) although I never really go outside of Michigan, I love weekend getaways.

I have 3 beautiful children, grown except the youngest who just graduated college and will be on her own soon. I also have an elderly mother I take care of (so pretty much, another kid) that has battled cancer for the last 5 years on and off.
