Hello together with my Husband we live in a corner of SE Queensland where we run around 300 to 250 head of cattle. We are four hours SE of the Ocean, four hours NE of Brisbane and about an hour’s drive to our nearest shopping town. Apart from being my Husbands Right Hand Woman I love to go for walks in the Bush, in actual fact I love anything really to do with the Natural world.
I enjoy repurposing ‘anything’ clothes, cardboard, metal odds and bods found out in the paddock much to my Husbands dismay. I have had a past life of Fabric Printing, Printmaking, Life Drawing, Still life Drawing, and Landscape Painting with small exhibitions and commissions here and there: it is still a very big part of my life even though I don’t seem to have that much time up my sleeve much these days.
I love cooking especially from my own produce from the garden. I also enjoy visits to Open Gardens, Old Gardens and Abandoned Gardens. We regularly visit Museums and Galleries whenever we are able too.
I live in a Man’s environment and even though I can pull my weight I would dearly enjoy meeting new people and having a good Goss with some women with similar interests, from all different cultures and walks in life …

... I am my Husbands Right hand woman, Fencer, Jillaroo, Branding & tagging cattle helper, dog trainer, horse groomer, house keeper, gardener, cook extraordinaire, lover of the Natural World, Artist and Photographer ....
... I'm living it - though at times I do question myself as to "Why"? as it can be a lonely existence in a Man's World for a Woman.
I have always drawn, painted and made things since a small child. I love to re-purpose clothes, fabrics, metal, tin in fact anything that catches my imagination. I love being challenged by gardening; I enjoy cooking though cakes I am useless with. I love reading Thrillers, Mysteries, Law, Detective and Nordic Noir.
I enjoy listening to music – all the time – though my selection is a little different to most … Bossa Nova from the 50’s & 60’s, George Benson, Michael Franks, Café del Mar, Budda Bar and sounds from Hotel Cotes and well as the beautiful sounds from Cape Verde.
I also have a passion of hearing about where people have come from with family history ...

I'm pretty laid back these days - I guess would be places in Nature, a picnic at a rather deserted beach eating freshly caught fish.
My favourite Travel Spots would be somewhere dramatic like Finland, Iceland, parts of Canada. And places with big wild Oceans - Cape Town, parts of Scotland, Isle of Skye ...
